Under the supervision of the Deputy Director for Community Engagement, Kenya will assist members of the Planning Department with the coordination of all outreach efforts related to planning and zoning initiatives in the Neighborhoods and the Downtown. Kenya will represent the Planning Department in public forums, and coordinate with the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services, external agencies, as well as community, neighborhood and business organizations.  Kenya will assist in establishing policies, procedures, and practices to guide the Agency on matters related to community engagement.  She will also facilitate internal communication within the Agency and City relative to planning and zoning matters and promote public involvement.
